FAQ’s

I have listed below some questions and answers I tend to get asked, but if there is something else not covered, please ask.

Who supplies the cleaning products?

I bring the cleaning products and the cost for these is included in the rate shown. I use quality products at all times. If there are particular scents you do or don’t like please let me know.

Do you bring a vacuum and mop etc?

No I don’t as most people prefer that I use their’s due to hygiene reasons.

Do you use natural / green eco-friendly products?

I can use these if this is your preference, but I do charge a small supplement on top of the rate to cover the costs of these products.

Which areas do you cover?

I am located in Clanfield, Hampshire and cover the surrounding area. I can travel further so please ask.

Do you have a minimum time for cleans?

For any domestic home cleans the minimum time is 2 hours for weekly & fortnightly. For a one-off clean the minimum is 4 hours.

What do you do in 2 hours?

Ok, so 2 hours to completely deep clean a home is not really possible, so I will always ask you what your priority is but generally it gives enough time to concentrate on a good clean of the kitchen and bathroom, and time to vacuum and mop.

Are you insured?

Yes! I hold insurance, and also have a police check and references available, I am also a member of the Domestic Cleaning Alliance (DCA)

Do I need to be at home when you’re here?

Not if you don’t want to be. I am happy to let myself in and get on with the cleaning.

Will you clean my oven?

I don’t offer a specific oven cleaning service as it’s quite a unique area. If it just needs a bit of a ‘shine’ I’ll do my best when I am with you!

Do you clean windows?

Yes, but internal only! This is something usually done in place of something else as it takes time. The interior glass will be cleaned along with the inside of the frames and sills etc.
